The Carpenter

Ron says that as far as he can remember, he was always good with his hands. Growing up, he worked on motorcycles and cars, and he also watched his grandfather, a cabinet maker, design and create masterful pieces. He attended Platt Tech, a trade school in Connecticut, after finishing high school. After a year of discovering different trade options, he chose carpentry as his focus. Ron was the best in his class.

After Hurricane Katrina hit and as New Orleans started to recover, Ron moved down when a friend from trade school said he had a job (or a few) for him. In Ron’s mind, he thought he would give it a shot. Fifteen years later, Ron, his wife, and his min pin (and workshop sidekick) Sindee Ray remain residents of New Orleans.

Ron has worked on several projects throughout the city, ranging from restaurants to home remodels. There is nothing he cannot do.
